Tala nang Tala ang competing groups sa thanksgiving party ng Macbeth nitong Thursday night sa Elements, Centris Mall, Quezon City. Hindi na iyon ikinagulat ng hosts ng programa na sina Shalala at Rico Robles.

Kabilang sa guest performers sa Macbeth event si Kyline Alcantara, na bida sa upcoming Kapuso afternoon teledrama na Bilangin Ang Mga Bituin sa Langit.

Muntik nang tumambling si Shalala nang magtanong si Rico kung ang nasabing TV drama series ay related sa movie ni Sharon Cuneta, na nagbida sa Bituing Walang Ningning at Bukas, Luluhod Ang Mga Tala.

Ang bida sa pelikulang Bilangin Ang Mga Bituin Sa Langit ay ang Superstar na si Nora Aunor, na tampok din sa TV version.

“Hindi pa naman po ganoon kabigat ang mga eksena ko sa first and second taping day,” sabi ni Kyline.

“But tomorrow is my third day na mag-taping, and kinakabahan pa rin po ako until now. Ngayon pa lang po kami nagkakaroon ng relationship with Miss Mylene (Dizon), and especially with Direk Laurice (Guillen).”

Last year, controversial ang pagmumura at pagdi-dirty finger ni Juan Karlos “JK” Labajo sa heckler sa Rakrakan, iyong paulit-ulit sumigaw ng “I love you, Darren!”

Ayon kay Rhome, hindi naka-line up ang banda ni JK sa Rakrakan 2020. Napangiti si Rhome nang usisain namin kung bet nilang isali si Darren Espanto.

NAGKAGULO NA KAY MARCELITO POMOY

Noong una, wala masyadong pumapansin kay Marcelito Pomoy sa thanksgiving party ng Macbeth. Pero nang ipakilala na siya para kumanta, nagkagulo na ang mga bisita.

“Siya iyong kumanta ng The Prayer!” sabi ng babae sa likod namin, sa katabing lamesa.

Iniwan ng girl ang kanyang bag at nakipagsiksikan sa harap ng stage para ma-video si Pomoy. Pati iyong ibang band members, vinideo ang performance niya.

Despacito ang kinanta ni Marcelito. Sa chorus, sa halip na kantahin ng audience ay salitang “despacito,” pinalitan nila iyon ng “Marcelito”!

Kung iyong naunang guest performers ay tig-iisa lang ng kanta, “More!” ang sigaw ng audience, kaya bumanat na si Marcelito ng makapanindig-balahibo niyang rendition ng The Prayer.

Bitin pa rin ang mga tao. Kaya pinagbigyan niya ang mga ito at umawit siya ng My Heart Will Go On (theme song ng Titanic).

Iinterbyuhin namin sana agad si Marcelito after his performance, pero natagalan iyon sa dami ng nagpa-picture sa kanya!

Last week ng January ang alis ni Marcelito pa-America para sa semi-finals ng America’s Got Talent, na magte-taping sa first or second week ng Pebrero.

Pinaghahandaan syempre nang husto ang semi-finals, kung saan 20 silang magkakalaban.

“Parang bumalik ako dati sa umpisa. Pero mas malala ito!” sambit ni Marcelito, na palaboy at construction worker bago nagwagi sa 2nd season ng Pilipinas Got Talent noong 2011.

Nagpapasalamat si Marcelito sa mainit na suporta ng mga kababayan, lalo na iyong mga Pinoy sa Amerika. Humiling siya ng dasal para sa ikapagtatagumpay niya.

PARANG BAKLA KUNG MA-IN LOVE

Hugot iyan ng 50-anyos na singer-comedienne na si Marissa Sanchez, nang makatsikahan namin sa Messenger kaugnay sa Valentine concert nila ni Eric Nicolas na My Fatty Valentine, na nakatakda sa Pebrero 14 nang 9:00 PM sa Km. 19, East Service Road, Sucat, Muntinlupa City.

Aba! Hataw siya sa rehearsal ng dance number para sulit ang tiket na P1,000 sa concert.

“This should be a surprise but I’ll give you a clue: halos lahat, alam nang sayawin ang dance na pinaghahandaan namin,” sabi ni Marissa.

“But what’s going to set our performance apart is the personal touch we’ll add to the original choreography.

“Unfortunately, my movements will be quite limited due to slip disc (as advised by my Doctor Therapist, Dr. Leomil Adriano), but I can assure you this won’t stop me from making you laugh and providing entertainment.

“Kuya Eric is one of the most brilliant comedians I’ve known sa industriya. Before I met him, akala ko, ang galing ko na. Yun pala, ang dami ko pang kakaining bigas.

“It’s truly an honour for me to be working with this ultra talented guy.

“What will set this show apart from what I’ve done in the past is this time around, I have a a partner who perfectly complements my style. Hindi lang ako iyung magpapatawa, gigiling, and kakanta.

“Our musical director is still Elmer Blancaflor, and our director is none other than his beautiful wife, Vivian Poblete-Blancaflor. Back up vocals is headed by the renowned ‘halimaw’ Kearny Amarillo.”

Sa pagsapit ng Year of the Metal Rat, ano ang naba-vibes niya sa buhay at career, lalo pa’t Golden Girl na siya?

“First of all, Kung Hei Fat Choi to everyone celebrating it!” pagbati ni Marissa.

“As to how I think 2020 will be like, I just pray that God provides what He wills for me. I fully entrust my life to Him, and I offer my life’s (hard) work and all the effort I put in my craft.”

Si Marissa mismo ang producer ng My Fatty Valentine. Ito ang 2nd concert na prinodyus niya.

Nangarag si Marissa sa mga toxic na ganap sa paghahanda para sa concert.

Aniya, “I’ve faced a lot of obstacles throughout our preparation for My Fatty Valentine. In fact, there are times when I’ve cried about them (thanks to Sir Wowee Posadas of 19East who has been supporting me). “Coincidentally, the Taal Volcano incident happened, making me realize that whatever we had encountered for the concert is so small compared to what the victims are going through.

“Hiyang-hiya ako sa sarili ko. Given the magnitude of help required sa mga pangyayari, I chose to help by lending a hand and donating resources to friends and acquaintances living near the disaster area.

“This calamity, also the other ones happening around the world, is sending us a message. We should be better stewards and make our lives count for God’s glory.

“Ako mismo ang nag-produce nito as I said to myself, this time, tulungan ko naman ang sarili ko. Kasi, I always live for other people. But turns out, mas happy pa rin pala ako helping others than myself.”
